WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT ST AUDRIES PARK, SOMERSET
I had a great feeling about Charlotte from the very start, as soon as she got in touch with me about taking her wedding photos I just knew this was a wedding I would enjoy doing. Charlotte loving my style and approach to wedding photography was key, but there was something else that got me excited about the whole thing.
Personally, I would rather have ten weddings booked with couples that are into documentary reportage style wedding photography than twenty booked just because they want a photographer on the day.
Charlotte lives in Bath, and her chap is a successful start coach and head of performance for the British Skelton team, so is away quite a lot preparing for the winter Olympics, so it was up to me to go to their venue at St Audries Park in Somerset and recce the place before their wedding day, and wow, what a place, it was amazing!
So many photo opportunities, the place is run solely for weddings, if I hadn’t (my mrs) have booked our own wedding venue for next year already I’d seriously consider it! Proper Lord of the Manor job.
All that month in April the weather had been pretty pants to be fair, but the day of the wedding it all cleared up and not a single cloud in the sky.
It was a fantastic day, they were a lovely couple to work with. They wrote their own vows, which turned out to be phenomenally emotional, you could just tell they were bang tidy for each other 🙂
I wish them all the luck in the world…..
