“Will you stick around for a while when the silent disco starts?”

Absolutely I would!

Nic and Kim’s wedding at the Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe, it was great fun from start to finish. The silent disco was a photographic feast.

There’s something quite weirdly brilliant about a room full of people throwing some shapes in silence, and not even listening to the same song. But that was later in the evening. We had lots to get through before all that started, a dog being the ring bearer for a start.

I wasn’t a complete stranger there when I turned up, I had photographed Nic’s mums marriage a few years ago which was a great wedding, so I knew all the family, and this one was on the cards to be a belter.

Everyone was relaxed and seemed up for a good party, which for me, is an easier wedding to photograph and manage, as people having fun and not really worrying about anything, it just makes for great pictures and vibe, I don’t instruct anyone on how to pose, it’s not my style (literally), so just being left alone all day and night to capture the true essence of the day is the perfect match.

Below is a small selection of pictures from their day, I could have put up 100’s more, but I try and show my style more than anything, where I hope you can get a good feel of my approach.

If you’d like to view the full online gallery and are keen for me to document your wedding day, get in touch. 🙂

Thanks for your time.
