A few months back I was lucky enough to be asked to document a super wedding in London’s Soho. Not being up this way to for a while to shoot a wedding I was very keen to get it all started.
From my base in Devon, I mostly get my lions share of weddings within the South West of England, which is cool! Love it down here, some great venues gently poised on top of cliffs, sandy coves and lapping seas at sunset, amazing – but, how I loved this London wedding! For me it was fab, a different pace, I got to stay over night in a hotel, I ate pizza (two).
So I’m trying to broaden my scope for shooting weddings, I strongly believe my documentary style reportage approach can fit in and complement any venue, anywhere, and London Soho’s Kettners was right up my street, with also the added token of an awesome bride and groom (Liz & Henry), who basically just let me get on with what I do.
I was with Liz in the morning getting ready right up till the evening party. They got married at Chelsea Town Hall and then travelled to Soho, but horrendously their transport mini bus broke down! No dramas though, a few taxis later we were all back on track, everything that went on that day was great and just added to the mix, which I was luckily enough to document.
If you are after something genuinely different, a quirky feel with an edge, bit of fun and a natural and honest wedding, stepping away from the traditional, then please get in touch.
I have attached a link below of the testimonial Liz and Henry kindly put on my website, so just in case this may interest someone who reads this, this may help – GRW Photography reviews.
Thanks for your time.
