Hello I’m Gareth, an award winning documentary wedding photographer. I specialise in moments and emotions, the love and laughter, the little glances and expressions, as I believe this is the only true way to shoot a wedding.
I’m very fortunate that I have found that my past clients trust me and feel at ease with me being around. Capturing moments that matter most, travelling all over the UK and into Europe celebrating same sex weddings, bringing with me my unobtrusive, documentary unique style of photography. Nothing posed or staged, you certainly won’t feel like you are on a photoshoot, in fact, quite the opposite, blending in like a friend at your wedding.
There is so much to capture during the day and evening, memories that are truly unique to you and your guests and it’s my job to tell your story, and for you to feel at ease, so I can provide snapshots in time for you to look back on forever.
Documentary wedding photography
I never work off a shot list, nothing is planned, I rarely know what I’m going to shoot until two seconds before I press the shutter.
Reportage, photojournalism, documentary, these are all names that associate with the style, names and terms can be confusing. I’m basically shooting your day and night with as little interference as possible, capturing the true narrative of your wedding.
Investment
It’s great to chat or meet up with you both beforehand to get to know each other, you can arrange a pre-shoot as part of your package, which can then be printed up and mounted for guests to sign on the day.
