FAMILY PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
My latest family portrait session took me to Sparkford near Yeovil, the family of Tony and Tracey, with son Oliver. A happy couple with a cute kid, what could go wrong? Well – nothing, all went really well, I know the couple from a few years back, as I photographed their wedding day, always nice to re-visit a couple, especially something as cool as this to photograph, a new child in the family.
We all relaxed as soon as I walked through the door. I’m there to photograph them in their natural surroundings, as a family unit, and the best way to do this is to all chill out and relax, which we did.
It isn’t the easiest thing for people to properly relax in front of a lens, but all three of them took to it from the off, and got on with the camera.
Tony has been keeping an eye on various blogs I have posted, and likes my style of taking pictures, so this was always going to be a win win.
He was jetting off for work to Las Vegas the morning after, rock-n-roll I thought, always wanted to go there, will do hopefully one day, not a betting man myself to be honest, just believe it’s a real cool place to go and visit, let alone work!
If you like these photographs, and fancy a family portrait session, none of this studio based white infinity background malarkey mind, just natural images that truly capture what family life is all about, reportage style, in your own surroundings and comforts, then get in touch through my website, www.grwphotography.co.uk and we can all get together.
It’s been almost three years since I photographed their wedding, feels like a couple of months ago, time flies, so get yourself some memorable family pictures of your children before they’re back packing around Australia with their mates J
Thanks for looking
