I just loved this wedding, and everything about it, the people, the wedding venue, the intimacy of it all. Elopement wedding photography is something I’d love to do more of. This is a short wedding blog on the lovely Ceri and Ben, who eloped to the coast in North Devon and the wonderful Ocean Kave at Westward Ho! with just close family – brilliant!
We went on the cliff overlooking the wonderful North Devon coastline, and to the beach, along with a laugh in the amusements in WestWard Ho!, where I won an award for one of my images in the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) competition. Kathy the owner of Ocean Kave is extremely accommodating. I was only with Ceri and Ben for a very short length of time, but it genuinely felt like we had all known each other for years. Here are some very kind words they said about my wedding photography:
“Gareth made our day so fun, we had an elopement wedding and he became apart of our very small wedding party pretty much instantly, it felt like we had known him forever like an old friend.
If you were to look at our wedding pictures you can see we spent the whole day laughing, joking and having a blast, that was in part to do with Gareth making the photography side of it such fun.
Our pictures were out of this world and as we had a wedding party of just 8 including our kids and us we really wanted people to be able to feel like they experienced our day through our photographs. Gareth made this happen and we were elated within the results of just a few hours photography. He went that extra mile to make sure we got the most beautiful shots. That made our day unforgettable.
He’s a very talented photographer and we would recommend him highly to anyone with any special occasion he will always capture that special moment so you will never forget it.”
Thanks for looking.
